CBT Stress Management
This program identifies the symptoms of stress and facilitates healthy ways to manage and reduce this stress through increased awareness, self-control, self-confidence, open communication, and increased adaptability.
It consists of three weekly two-hour workshops that teach participants the tools they need to manage their stress. It provides the opportunity for everyone to share their individual experience in a safe, supportive environment.
Mindfulness begins with seeing the present moment clearly.
We also highly recommend meditation, as it is known to increase joy and motivation, reduce stress, lower blood pressure, alleviate and prevent heart disease, improve digestion and sleep, balance blood sugar levels and mood, reduce anxiety, improve memory and concentration, increase personal accountability, enhance relationships, and encourage personal authenticity.
